Walsall is a town of heart, resilience and proud multicultural roots. But many children across the borough still need safe, loving homes — including children and young people from Black and multiracial backgrounds. Whether you’re in Bloxwich, Darlaston, Aldridge or Willenhall, Wholistic Fostering is here to guide and support your fostering journey.
That means:
You’ll receive:
A named social worker who knows you and your household
24/7 contact for practical help and reassurance
Training tailored to you, your story and your needs
Consistent support from your dedicated social worker
Financial and emotional support tailored to your needs
Small team. Big heart. Real relationships.
There’s no single way to foster — just like there’s no single type of child in care. We’ll help you find the path that fits your home, your energy and your time.
We'll work with you to find the right fit for you — we'll ensure you're not left to manage by yourself.
You’re never doing it alone when you're fostering with Wholistic.
That means:
Weekly allowances between £350–£700 per child
A named social worker who checks in regularly
Ongoing specialist training — in person or online
Help with schools, services and child development
Local carer events, mentoring and reflection groups
We advocate for our foster carers and we support them to feel able to speak up on behalf of the children and young people they care for.
